There could be a big field lining up in the The Bar One Racing Troytown Handicap Chase and it’s not easy to identify a winner. You essentially want to find a horse that is going to outstay the competition and perhaps that runner is Quai De Bourbon. The six-year-old was an impressive performer at Fairyhouse when finishing third in the Irish Grand National.

Largy Debut runs for trainer Henry de Bromhead and the horse was last seen finishing second out of twelve runners at Limerick in the Ladbrokes Munster National Handicap Chase. That came after a previous runner-up performance in a Beginners Chase at Gowran Park over two miles and four furlongs on heavy ground.

Thedevilscoachman returns after a long lay-off and the JP McManus-owned runner was able to score at Limerick back in March when winning a Novice Chase. The horse pulled up in the Irish Grand National Chase, with the Noel Meade-trained runner trading at a similar price to Gevrey who was able to land a victory last time out at Limerick.

The seven-year-old appears to be favourably handicapped and was able to win at odds of 6/1 over three miles on soft ground. Back in April, there was also a second placed finish in the Irish Grand National at odds of 28/1 and this looks like the sort of runner who could go well at Navan, with the horse a likely finisher.
