Novices Hurdle Betting Odds

2025 "Save Our Bets" Novices' Chase Betting Tips

We’re excited to see which horse has the best staying ability in the Sun's "Save Our Bets" Novices' Chase. Wade Out was a recent winner at Worcester over two miles and four furlongs, with that coming after a bright effort at Aintree back in April. That was in the William Hill Handicap Hurdle where the horse weakened after a bright showing.

Leave Of Absence’s form can’t be ignored. The eight-year-old is bidding for a third straight victory and the latest of these recently came at Cheltenham. The horse was able to score by two and a half lengths, with that coming over three miles and a furlong. That came after a March success at Newbury over nearly three miles.

Be Aware has been a recent winner and the Dan Skelton-trained runner was able to score at Stratford at the end of October. That was over two miles, three and a half furlongs, with that coming after encouraging efforts at Cheltenham and Aintree. The 3/1 Coral Cup favourite finished a solid eighth and followed it up with the same position in the William Hill Handicap Hurdle.

Double Powerful runs for Neil Mulholland and was last seen finishing third out of fourteen runners at Cheltenham. That was over two miles and four furlongs, with the horse previously performing well at Aintree over a longer distance. The fact that the runner stayed on in that race was encouraging for connections.

2023 Trustatrader Novices Hurdle Tips

Captain Teague might be carrying more weight than the rest of the field although the bookies still think that the horse is the most likely winner of this race. Paul Nicholls will have high hopes for a runner who was able to secure a victory at Chepstow Racecourse, with a win by nearly ten lengths occurring in the Persian War Novices’ Hurdle.

The horse has previously demonstrated a capacity to run well at Cheltenham when finishing third in the Champion Bumper at the Festival. Sent off at odds of 40/1, the runner was only two and a half lengths off the pace, with Space Tourist next in the betting and Willie Mullins is no stranger to success when it comes to this track.

Sent off as the 6/4 favourite in a recent Mares’ Hurdle, there was plenty to like about a five-length win although there had previously been an odds-on defeat at Listowel. Perhaps Impose Toi can also run well and the horse was last able to get home at Ludlow in May against a small field of runners, although this is a sterner test.

Kinbara hasn’t been out of the first two in his past three outings, finishing second out of eleven horses at Listowel before claiming wins at Wexford and Cartmel. John C McConnell will expect the runner to place and the same applies to Peter Fahey and The Big Doyen, with the horse last seen finishing second to High Class Hero at Limerick.
