Paddys Rewards Club Chase Betting Odds

The Paddy’s Reward Club Chase is packed with talented Irish runners and it would be a surprise if Willie Mullins doesn’t saddle the winner considering that he’s mob-handed for this encounter. Gaelic Warrior hasn’t been seen at a track this season, although his solid credentials makes him the one to beat at Leopardstown.

Found A Fifty has been able to record consecutive successes and the seven-year-old carries the hopes of trainer Gordon Elliott. There are bold claims for Il Etait Temps, with a number of victories being achieved for the six-year-old. Ferny Hollow fell last time out but the horse has the potential to go well and it should be an intriguing encounter.

2024 Paddy’s Rewards Club Chase Tips

Gaelic Warrior is the short-priced favourite to win the Paddy’s Rewards Club Chase, with Willie Mullins saddling a horse who has strong credentials based on previous form. Last time out, the horse was second out of four runners at Punchestown, with this coming after a fine performance at the Cheltenham Festival where the horse won the Arkle.

That was an eight-length success where the 2/1 favourite delighted his backers, with the horse bouncing back after unseating his rider in the Ladbrokes Novice Chase. There was also a Grade One success at Limerick where the horse was able to triumph in the Faugheen Novice Chase where another convincing success was landed.

Found A Fifty is bidding for a seasonal hat-trick and there is plenty to like about the Gordon Elliott-trained runner who was able to score at Navan in the middle of November. The 11/8 favourite was able to triumph in the Fortria Chase where the horse won by a neck, while that came after a Down Royal success as the 11/10 favourite.

Il Etait Temps is the Mullins runner who could deliver when it counts. The six-year-old has bags of ability and there were back to back successes at the end of last season. The fact that the horse beat Gaelic Warrior at Punchestown last time out, with that coming after a notable win at Aintree where there was a success in the Manifesto Novices’ Chase.

2022 Paddy’s Rewards Club Chase Tips

Willie Mullins always ends up landing lots of winners during the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and Energumene could be in the winners’ enclosure on 27 December. The eight-year-old runs in the Brighton & Hove Albion silk colours of owner Tony Bloom, with the horse making an appearance at Cork and it was a comfortable win at heavy odds-on.

The fact that the runner was able to win the William Hill Champion Chase at Punchestown by over eight lengths was impressive back in April, with that victory coming after landing a Queen Mother Champion Chase victory. However, much depends on whether Mullins and the horse’s connections go down this route.

Chacun Pour Soi hasn’t run for 250 days and it’s hard to judge the Rich Ricci-owned runner after such a long lay-off, with the ten-year-old often flattering to deceive and you might be on safer ground when wagering on Blue Lord. The seven-year-old always runs an honest race and has an impressive strike rate.

A win in the Clonmel Oil Chase by a neck set up the horse nicely, with the runner also triumphing in the Barberstown Castle Novice Chase at the Punchestown meeting. If you want to look beyond the Mullins stable, then perhaps Captain Guinness is capable of delivering the spoils and Henry de Bromhead will have high hopes.

2020 Paddy's Reward Club Chase Betting Tips

The race has been in operation since 1998 when Papillon was successful and the same horse went on to win the Aintree Grand National, with Moscow Flyer having scored a double in 2002 and 2003 and it’s clear that this race acts as a precursor for the Queen Mother Champion Chase over two miles at the Cheltenham Festival.

Big Zeb, Sizing Europe and Douvan are more recent winners and Willie Mullins could be in the winners’ enclosure with his latest two mile chaser who can promise great things for the 2020/21 season.

Chacun Pour Soi Huge Betting Favourite to win Paddy’s Reward Club Chase

Chacun Pour Soi unfortunately had to miss the Queen Mother Champion Chase due to injury although it’s full steam ahead for the eight-year-old and the horse has been odds-on favourite for several weeks when it comes to this Christmas horse race, with Mullins expecting him to claim the spoils and then build towards the Cheltenham Festival.

The horse was an impressive winner of the Ladbrokes Dublin Chase when beating Min in February, while he has returned for the 2020/21 season and it was an easy victory in the Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase last time out at Cork Racecourse, with the horse likely to be ready to get the victory.

Can Anyone Stop Chacun Pour Soi in the Paddy’s Reward Club Chase?

Henry de Bromhead has several lively chances in the big Irish National Hunt races over Christmas and that includes this race where Notebook is likely to be sent off as second favourite to claim victory, with the seven-year-old having won on his seasonal reappearance.

Notebook scored an impressive win in the Poplar Square Chase, with Rachael Blackmore having guided him to a victory at odds of 7/2 and this included beating Fakir D'oudairies and Cash Back in a four-horse race.

Notebook disappointed backers in the 2020 Cheltenham Festival when finishing sixth in the Arkle Chase although it appears as though the horse has plenty to offer and perhaps the favourite could be given a race.

Min is an experienced competitor and the Willie Mullins horse seems to run consistently well, with a victory in the Ryanair Chase last March illustrating that the runner still seems to have huge amounts of class and he was less than four lengths behind Chacun Pour Soi in February.
