London Mile Handicap Betting Odds

The Unibet London Mile Series Final Handicap takes place on Saturday, with Kempton Park all-weather track hosting an encounter that is the second race on the card. This is an encounter where there will be several price boosts available across the recommended bookmakers. There are likely to be extra places when it comes to each-way wagers.

Sky Safari was a winner on the all-weather last time out, with James Fanshawe training a horse that could be battling it out with Maybe Not. There’s also a shout for Radiant Beauty who has scored three victories in the space of four races. Sir Paul Ramsey is a three-year-old who also has claims to be in the final shake-up.

2025 London Mile Series Final Handicap Betting Tips

Sky Safari has landed a couple of victories on the all-weather already this season. The four-year-old was last seen triumphing a couple of months ago, with the 7/2 chance obliging at Kempton Park following a disappointing showing at Ascot. In the Kensington Palace Fillies Stakes, the horse was underwhelming when finishing last.

Maybe Not hasn’t been out of the first two in her previous four races. Ralph Beckett saddles a three-year-old who ran really well at York last time out. She was just a length off the pace and that came after an August victory on the all-weather at Kempton Park. There was also a decent showing at Newbury in mid-July after a victory at Ffos Las.

Radiant Beauty has been a prolific winner in recent encounters. Three victories in the space of four outings means that this James Owen-trained charge has to be worthy of consideration. The last success came at Kempton Park towards the end of August, with that coming after an end of July triumph at Redcar.

Sir Paul Ramsey has been among the places this season, with the latest effort being fourth place out of ten at Chester on 30 August. That came after a third-placed finish in the Sky Bet Mile Handicap at York where the 28/1 shot where the horse came mightily close to a success. That came after a handicap success at Haydock Park.

2023 Unibet London Mile Tips

Kathab is among the three-year-olds lining up in the Unibet London Mile, with William Haggas saddling a horse who has won two of his previous three encounters. The runner returns to action quickly, with the runner finishing third in the Ripon Rowels Handicap after winning a London Series Qualifier at Haydock Park at the beginning of August.

First View and Baltimore Boy were left battling it out at Kempton Park towards the end of August, with the latter winning a handicap for trainer Michael Bell. The former was sent off as the 3/1 favourite on that occasion, with half a length separating the two horses. Baltimore Boy had previously flattered to deceive before that victory.

Flyawaydream will be looking to build on consecutive third-placed finishes, with the latest performance taking place at Ascot where the horse flattered to deceive as the 8/13 favourite. Previously to this, there was a stronger performance to finish third out of fifteen horses in a London Mile Series Qualifier.

Helm Rock was the winner on the all-weather at Newcastle Racecourse over one mile, with the Daniel & Claire Kubler-trained runner winning a one-mile handicap. Just Bring It runs for Clive Cox, with a Racing League encounter being won at Windsor on 17 August. City Of York has two victories to his name and the latest actually happened at Kempton.

London Mile Handicap 2023 Tips

We’ve got an intriguing card for Kempton Park on Saturday 1 April, with Million Thanks heading the betting for the Unibet’s Improved Bet Builder Handicap and the race is due to go off at 2.40pm on the all-weather track. The four-year-old bounced back from a disappointing run at Lingfield Park before bouncing back to finish second at Kempton in an early March handicap race.

Naval Commander is another horse that is competing for favouritism, with the six-year-old narrowly getting beaten in his previous running when finishing second to favourite Positive, with the runner bidding for a first victory in five attempts, with Kieran O’Neill on board a runner who should be able to go close despite a prohibitive weight.

Al Marmar is a four-year-old who might have been disappointing last time out although the bookmakers still afford plenty of respect to a runner who was well down the order at Newcastle in the middle of March. Perhaps the horse will benefit from a seasonal reappearance after a long lay-off and previous performances suggest he could go close.

Brains hasn’t been out of the places in the past four races and that suggests that an each-way wager could be the way forward here. The John Butler-trained runner was last seen finishing third at Wolverhampton over a distance which was a little more than a mile, with the horse having finished in the same position at Lingfield Racecourse.
