Magnum Force has landed three top-two finishes this season, with the latest effort being a runner-up spot at York when running a strong race. Sent off at 9/2, the horse was narrowly beaten by a neck after previously triumphing at Cork in the middle of August. However, some might prefer the chances of Aesterius.

The two-year-old was able to secure three victories from his first five appearances, with Archie Watson training a runner with a high official rating. There was a success at Longchamp in early September, with five other runners fended off on that occasion. That came after a second-placed finish at Goodwood when finishing behind Big Mojo.

Coto De Caza has been successful in his past two outings, with Simon & Ed Crisford training a runner who was successful at Goodwood in late July, with the horse able to triumph by two and a half lengths. The horse was then third in the Molecomb Stakes before a disappointing effort in the Gimcrack Stakes, with Malc also an interesting runner who might have underwhelmed as the favourite in the Kingdom of Bahrain July Stakes although this was a competitive race and perhaps the shorter distance of five furlongs might be more to his liking.
