There’s an exciting hurdle race in store this coming Friday, with Cheltenham Racecourse hosting a Class 2 encounter where Doyen Quest could be the horse to beat. Brendan Powell is on board a horse who looks to have solid each-way claims and the same could be said of Bold Endeavour.

The latter runs for trainer Nicky Henderson and the seven-year-old is one of the top weights in the race, with a fifth-placed finish occurring at Haydock out of fifteen runners towards the end of November. Previously to this was another solid showing at Newbury Racecourse and that came after impressing at Haydock and Cheltenham.

The Newest One achieved a victory for Nigel Twiston-Davies in a previous outing, with this coming against eight other runners at Chepstow. The 11/8 favourite was able to achieve a victory by a monster distance on that occasion after previously running smartly at Cheltenham when finishing second in the Paddy Power Games Handicap Hurdle.
