Hidden History runs for Dan Skelton and the seven-year-old was second in his previous showing, with Wellington Arch having also run well this season.

The six-year-old has notched two firsts and two seconds this term, with the front two in the betting trading at a much shorter price than the rest of the field. 2025 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle Tips

There’s an intriguing handicap hurdle race taking place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Saturday, with Hidden History installed as the favourite to win. Dan Skelton had some successes at the Cheltenham Festival, with the horse running well at Fontwell when finishing second last time out. This came after a solid effort at Chepstow.

Wellington Arch hasn’t been out of the first two this season, with the latest performance being a victory at Market Rasen at the beginning of March. However, the horse was a strong favourite and that came after a runner-up showing at the same track in the previous encounter. There was a victory at Carlisle in mid-December where the horse achieved a comfortable win.

Below The Radar runs for Paul Nicholls and the seven-year-old finished seventh out of eleven at Chepstow at the end of January. There needs to be more from a horse that ended up dead last at Hereford, with Kahavari having racked up consecutive second places and the latest effort came at Carlisle over two miles and one furlong.

Jilaijone has been a recent winner when the David Pipe-trained charge was able to score in January and it’s telling that this was at Uttoxeter. That was over two miles and four furlongs before the horse headed to Ascot in the middle of February. A fourth placed finish was recorded out of a field of seventeen horses and the 6/1 chance went solidly.
