Cheveley Park Stakes Betting Odds

The Cheveley Park Stakes is a six-furlong encounter, with some of the best fillies in the land battling it out in this Group One clash. Aidan O’Brien features heavily for this race, with True Love having claimed either a victory or a runner-up spot in the past five outings. However, it’s Royal Fixation which is regarded as the most likely winner.

The Ed Walker-trained is set to go off as favourite, with Venetian Sun having notched a spate of wins for Karl Burke this season and the two-year-old could go well. Beautify and Precise hail from the same stable, with the latter having earned three straight wins coming into this race. Watch out for the latest price boosts for this encounter.

2025 Cheveley Park Stakes Betting Tips

Royal Fixation has produced some fine performances this term. The horse was last seen obliging at York when scoring by a single length in August. That success came in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes over six furlongs, with the filly landing a one-length triumph. That came after finishing second at Newmarket in July when running in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes.

True Love has been in the winners’ enclosure twice this term and also registered three runner-up performances. The Aidan O’Brien-trained runner was able to finish second at the Curragh despite being sent off as the 1/4 favourite after previously winning the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. That came over five furlongs and the horse has further to travel here.

Venetian Sun has been able to win four times this season and can’t be discounted. The latest effort was third at the Curragh in the Moyglare Stud Stakes, with that coming after a success at Deauville. This involved the favourite Gstaad being beaten by a short neck in the Sumbe Prix Morny and this Group 1 triumph could be repeated.

There’s little between the O’Brien-trained pair of Beautify and Precise who could both be worthy of each-way consideration. Our preference is for the latter who has racked up three consecutive wins on the spin. The latest effort was a victory at the Curragh in mid-September, with that coming after successes at Cork and Goodwood.

2024 Cheveley Park Stakes Tips

We’re excited about the Cheveley Park Stakes on 28 September, with several talented fillies battling it out over six furlongs. Babouche has been clocking up the victories recently, with the latest effort coming at the Curragh when scoring by a length and a half when fending off Whistlejacket, with that coming after a previous success at the same track.

Lake Victoria has been on target for trainer Aidan O’Brien on three different occasions, with the latest effort coming in mid-September when the filly was able to secure the spoils in the Moyglare Stud Stakes. That came over seven furlongs and there was previously a victory in the Sweet Solera Stakes when obliging as the 11/8 favourite.

Fairy Godmother also runs for O’Brien, with a victory coming at Royal Ascot where the runner was able to oblige in the Albany Stakes. This was a Group 3 success and came after a six furlong triumph in a Sprint Stakes at Naas. However, there could be some good each-way alternatives at double figure odds.

Daylight has claimed two wins and two third-places in her four outings so far, with Truly Enchanting having also notched a couple of victories. Bedtime Story has actually won on four different occasions this term and that includes a massive victory in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot. However, the filly disappointed in the Moyglare Stud Stakes.

2023 Cheveley Park Stakes Tips

Ramatuelle makes the journey from France to line up in the 2023 Cheveley Park Stakes, with Christopher Head hoping that her French racing form translates well at Newmarket. There have been some eye-catching performances leading up to the encounter, with a second-placed finish recorded in the Sumbe Prix Morny in Deauville.

Previously to this, there was a win in the Prix Robert Papin at short odds over six furlongs and this came after a victory in the Group 3 Prix du Bois Longines - Fonds Europeen de l'Elevage. However, Relief Rally is also a leading contender and it’s hard to crab the form of a filly who has won four of her five outings which means she’s among the favourites.

Tom Marquand was able to steer the filly to a success in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes when touching off Cherry Blossom by a length, with this coming after scoring as the even money favourite in the Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes. A second-placed finish in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot means she has to be strongly considered.

Aidan O’Brien is always hard to rule out when it comes to these type of contests, with Cherry Blossom having run really well to finish just a length behind Relief Rally last time out. This came after a Maiden victory at the Curragh in August and there’s plenty to recommend a two-year-old who is trading at a similar price to Porta Fortuna.

2022 Cheveley Park Stakes Tips

Meditate is an exciting two-year-old who boasts an unbeaten career as a two-year-old. She could be set for legendary status based on early evidence, with the horse beating favourite Drunk In Love in a Fillies Maiden back in April. The horse was still a backable 2/1 to win the Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes in mid-May before obliging.

Further improvement was found by Meditate when obliging in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and that was a relatively convincing win over six furlongs, with the horse being sent off at odds-on for the first time in her career when landing the spoils in the Alpha Centauri Debutante Stakes.

While Meditate certainly sets the benchmark, there are lots of other lively contenders and one of them comes in the form of Trillium. Richard Hannon has a potential superstar on his hands and she was most recently seen at Glorious Goodwood when winning the Markel Molecomb Stakes over five furlongs.

Previously to this, there was a 13/8 favourite victory in the EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, with this taking place over six furlongs and some will think the filly have an each-way chance. Lezoo boasts similar form and Ralph Beckett has already seen his runner win on three occasions this season.

Lezoo was the winner of the Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes and this Group 3 victory laid down a market ahead of the Cheveley Park Stakes, with the horse obliging in June when winning the Maureen Brittain Memorial Empress Fillies' Stakes.

Zain Claudette and Sandrine Favourites to Win 2021 Renewal

Zain Claudette is trained by the lesser-known Ismail Mohammed and the two-year-old has racked up three consecutive wins, with the first of these coming in the Rich Energy British EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes and this was followed by a 15/2 win in the Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes before Ray Dawson rode the horse to victory in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes.

Sandrine also could look the part and the Andrew Balding-trained horse has also picked up three wins this year, with the two-year-old winning on the all-weather at Kempton Racecourse, with David Probert then riding the charge to a victory at Royal Ascot when winning the Albany Stakes.

Desert Dreamer has plenty of runs under her belt and that experience might come in handy considering that she has run six times already for trainer Stuart Williams. The biggest issue that the previous five renewals hasn’t seen a return to the winners’ enclosure so perhaps an each-way wager is the best way forward.

Tenebrism and Hermana Estrella are next in the betting and they are trading at around the 10/1 mark, although there are question marks over both horses considering that they are lightly raced so far.
