Solario Stakes Betting Odds

The 2025 Solario Stakes is scheduled to go off at 3.35pm on Saturday 30 August, with Publish trading as the short-priced favourite to land the spoils. It’s a Sandown Park encounter and there are a number of horses at single figure odds. Wild Desert hasn’t been out of the front three in any races this term.

Zanthos won on a debut this term and the same applies to Pacific Avenue. Charlie Appleby’s two-year-old could be capable of further improvement, with He’s Waliim also a winner on his debut. Humidity could be a backable each-way contender after two smart wins to open his account, with the other five horses trading at a bigger price.

2025 Solario Stakes Betting Tips

Publish looks like horse to beat when it comes to the Solario Stakes. The runner is trading as the short-priced favourite and there have been a couple of decent efforts so far. Both of these came at Sandown Park, with the latest race being a success in a seven furlong maiden stakes. That came after finishing second out of five horses in a novice stakes encounter.

Wild Desert could be a solid performer here, with Charlie Appleby hoping that his horse can build on some encouraging efforts. The two-year-old was a winner at Haydock Park in May and that came before sealing a runner-up spot in June despite being the short-priced favourite. The latest result was third out of seven at Newmarket in July.

Zanthos was the winner on his only outing to date. The Simon & Ed Crisford-trained runner was able to oblige against five other runners by three lengths in early August. Sent off as the 4/5 favourite, it was a solid enough showing, although some might prefer the claims of Pacific Avenue who could be a good each-way price.

This is another Goldolphin charge who was able to score at odds of 9/1 when winning by a head. There’s then a big jump up in the prices to He’s Waliim and the James Tate-trained runner might be somewhat overpriced. There was everything to like about a six-length success when obliging as the 3/1 winner at Beverley in August.

2023 Solario Stakes Tips

We’re really excited to see which horse is going to become the latest winner of the Solario Stakes, with Starlore being installed as the favourite although the two-year-old has only had one outing thus far. In a novice stakes race at Sandown Park, the horse was able to win by a nose after being sent off at 9/2, although it’s scant form to suggest a facile victory.

The same applies to Aablan who ran in a recent maiden stakes race at Newmarket. The runner was sent off as the 4/7 favourite and was able to edge out Whiskey Pete by half a length, although it was hardly an inspired performance. Perhaps Mortlake is worth considering from an each-way point-of-view.

The Ralph Beckett-trained charge was successful at Leicester in his previous outing, with the horse winning over seven furlongs on 13 August, with Rossa Ryan once again on board a runner who started out by finishing down the order in a novice stakes race at Salisbury, with Warnie another interesting runner.

The Joseph O’Brien-trained charge was sent off at a meaty 40/1 in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot before claiming successive victories in Ireland. Sent off as the 10/11 favourite for a contest at Bellewstown, the horse was able to win by nearly four lengths, while there was a success at Tipperary in the Coolmore Stud Churchill Stakes.
