2026 Australian Oaks Betting Tips

Considering that three-year-old fillies line up in the Australian Oaks, there's never a huge amount of form upon which to feed. Ohope Wins is the favourite and the latest outing saw the Chris Waller-trained runner finish fourth in the Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill. The 17/10 shot was less than a length behind winner Belle Cheval and came after winning the New Zealand Oaks as favourite.

Over one mile and four furlongs, the mare was able to score by over two lengths, with Lance Sullivan and Andrew Scott saddling a charge who is now trading at short odds and has switched stable to Chris Waller. Soverato is from the same stable and there have been two fourth-placed finishes in her career to date.

The runner finished fourth in a maiden handicap at Newcastle when being sent off at 11/1 and that was followed by a mid-March effort at Rosehill. In the Chandon Phar Lap Stakes, there was plenty to like about her performance over seven and a half furlongs. At odds of 17/1, the filly had no right to get within one and a half lengths of winning favourite Sixties.

After Summer might gatecrash proceedings and we're a big fan of what this three-year-old filly has achieved to date. The horse was sent off as the 60/1 outsider last time out. This was in the Group One Vinery Stud Stakes where the filly nearly caused a stir over one mile and two furlongs. This came after a sixth-placed finish in the Kewney Stakes at Flemington.
