Fairyhouse Gold Cup Betting Odds

There might be two horses vying for favouritism, with Kappa Jy Pyke having passed two assignments this term. Willie Mullins' charge is likely to be a warm order and is open to further progress at the age of six.

2026 WillowWarm Gold Cup Betting Tips

Kappa Jy Pyke is the leading chance for trainer Willie Mullins, with the horse having claimed wins at Thurles and Punchestown this season. The former victory came at the end of November when fending off seven other runners over two miles, two and a half furlongs. This came before a win over a longer distance on soft ground, with the horse now bidding for a hat-trick.

Sixmilebridge has also been hitting the winning notes, with Fergal O'Brien seeing his charge land a victory at Ayr, Cheltenham and Sandown. These wins were all achieved in small fields, with the latest success coming over two miles and four furlongs. This was in the Grade 1 Scilly Isles Novices' Chase on soft ground, with that being a five-length success.

Final Demand and Jimmy Du Seuil are seven-year-olds in the Mullins stable, with the former having landed three successive wins at Punchestown, Navan and Limerick. More recently, the horse was a flop at the Dublin Racing Festival when falling short as the favourite in the Ladbrokes Novice Chase. There was an improvement at Cheltenham when finishing second in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase.

Jimmy Du Seuil was a faller at Leopardstown in the Ladbrokes Novices' Chase and his race had been run when tumbling at the last obstacle. However, we have previously seen this horse perform well and that included winning the 2025 Coral Cup. Then came a Beginners Chase success at Fairyhouse and perhaps the horse will return to this course and rediscover his form.
