Mahoning Valley Race Course is sponsored by Hollywood Gaming, with this race track having been opened in 2014. This is known as a Racino due to the fact that there is a large land-based casino along with a race track which hosts a number of meetings throughout the calendar year.

This racecourse is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties, with Penn Entertainment operating the course and there is a one-mile dirt course in place along with a grandstand and a gaming area with around 1,000 video betting terminals.
